Jože Kropivšek is Assistant Professor and Researcher at University of Ljubljana, Biotechnical faculty, Department of wood science and technology, Ljubljana, Slovenia. His work experience includes also independent project worker at engineering sector. He has cooperate and lead many research projects on the field of human resources management, knowledge management and value added estimation. He received his Ph.D. in Management and Organization Science at Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, an M.S. in Information Science at Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia and a B.S. in Wood science and Technology at Biotechnical faculty, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia.

His areas of research include: business process management (BPM), business models, business informatics, ICT, information society, management, organization theory, leadership and motivation, economics and financial analyses. Hi has advanced general computer skills, special computer skills on web design and administration, on developing business information systems and databases, on BPM tools (for business process modelling) and more. His bibliography contains over 100 scientific and professional publications.

Hi is a member and leader of a section of Association of Engineers and Technicians in wood industry, Ljubljana, Slovenia; a member of Slovenian Academy of Management, Ljubljana, Slovenia; and a member of International Association for Economics and Management in Wood Processing and Furniture Manufacturing »WoodEMA, i.a.«, Zagreb, Croatia.

He is an Editor-in-chief of international scientific journal »Dynamic Relationships Management Journal«.
